In 2018...

2018 leaves us with Lake Charlevoix sporting beautiful, open water...albeit cold.

We may have snow and rain, with hopes of more snow in the forecast, but know that the growing crew at Boyne Boat Yard is working hard to complete its current projects in time for the coming boating season. The first day of Summer isn't far off as the days are now getting longer.

It's been quite a year at Boyne Boat Yard as we continue to grow, expand our services and improve our capabilities - strengthening our commitment to our clients and the community where we work and play.

Key milestones for 2018...

Our designation as a Formula Authorized Service Center, the addition of a dedicated Paint & Gelcoat Bay and additional ABYC Certifications in for our crew in Diesel Engines and Marine Systems. We are also excited to continue as a service center for Sabre Yachts and Back Cove Yachts.

We are happy to have added 3 new team members to the Boyne Boat Yard family, each bringing new energy and talent to an already strong cast of marine technicians.

Join us in welcoming:

Ryan White

Alec Crowell

Kamen Labinski

Each with their own levels of expertise and skill, they are a welcome addition as we continue to move toward being the best marine service and storage company in the nation.

Here are a few memorable visuals of the past season...

First and foremost -

Our congratulations and appreciation go out to crew members Ryan White, Don Pero, Kamen Labinski and Brad Koeneman on achieving various levels of ABYC Certification in 2018!

American Boat and Yacht Council, ABYC, is a not-for-profit membership organization that has been developing and updating the safety standards for boat building and repair for 50 years. It is a leader in education for the marine industry, as well as certification programs for marine technicians. They set the standards by which marine technicians are measured.

And because hauling boats of all shapes and sizes to varying locations is a very big part of what we do, we are very appreciative of Ron Orlarey for obtaining his CDL license. Congratulations Ron...another great skill for the tool box as well as added services to our clients.

Here are a few highlights of the happenings this past year at Boyne Boat Yard!

We look forward to the coming year and all that 2019 will bring. Stop by and see us any time! We hope to hear from you soon and are excited to have you as part of the Boyne Boat Yard family!

In closing, may we leave you with our daily mantra...

See you in 2019!
