Amity School District is offering Trap Shooting as a Spring Sport! This sport is for any Amity student, grades 6-12. The State Shoot will be the weekend of June 20th at Hillsboro Trap and Skeet and is open to all athletes! Athlete sign-ups begin Feb. 3rd. There will be a Lunch Meeting for any student interested on Tuesday, January 14th and a Parent/Student meeting TBA at Amity High School. Required practices will be once a week at Mid-Valley Clays and Shooting School in Gervais. Times are TBA. THERE WILL BE AN INTRODUCTORY DAY at the Gun Club for Athletes and families to see what Trap Shooting is all about! Adult Volunteers, from Range Safety Officers to more Coaches are welcome! No experience required because there is training! Athletes must complete the online SAFE training and a required field day at the gun club to begin the practice week on April 3rd. They are also required to have the district code of conduct and physical on file, and pay the $85 sports fee at the school. The training and field day is TBA. Not thinking too much I crossed double solids :) and parked on the other side. I left the car and walked in the knee deep snow for like 10 meters further from the road to reach untouched powder and take some nice sunset photos.
