AquaSox Hit a Home Run in School

AquaSox Hit a Home Run in School

It is time to get ready for baseball season with some fun reading! Our school is participating in a month-long program presented by the Everett AquaSox & Sound Transit that will motivate your child to become a Home Run Reader. Each classroom and each student will have weekly and month-long reading goals, and will receive prizes as they reach their goals. The students will be reading "around the bases" in order to reach home plate and will receive prizes for completing the program. One of the prizes will be a free ticket to our school's reading night an an AquaSox baseball game in June! We will be celebrating the end of the school year in style with a great night at the ballpark.

Look for more information in your child's backpack soon.

Mornings With The Falcons Weekend Edition

Mornings With The Falcons Weekend Edition

We want to hear from you! Each spring your elected PTSA officers plan the budget for the next school year, which includes deciding which events to fund. In addition to the financial cost of the events, we are finding it is more and more challenging to find volunteers to staff our events. For this reason, we are taking a close look at what we have been offering as family events, and asking for your feedback on whether they stay or go. All survey respondents who provide their contact information will be entered into a drawing for a Spring Carnival prize pack of 2 wristbands and 20 tickets! Please respond by midnight, Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 by clicking on the button below.

PTSA Meeting

PTSA Meeting

School Survey

Share Your Feedback at Mukilteo Elementary School

Mukilteo School District parents are invited to take part in a short survey about their child’s school. The survey asks parents a series of questions, such as whether they have a positive impression about the quality of education at the school, whether they feel welcome at the school, and whether staff members understand and support their child’s learning needs.

The results will be used by schools in developing School Improvement Plans and will help schools and the school district improve communications with parents.

Golden Acorn

Golden Acorn Award

What is the Golden Acorn Award? This is an award given out by the PTSA to individuals who have given exemplary volunteer service to children and youth in our school community…not just an individual who has donated time to help in his/her child’s class or a staff member who is doing a good job. This award is given to recognize volunteer service “above and beyond” a particular job description. We would like you to participate in the selection of our award recipient through your recommendations, and our PTSA awards committee will make the final selection. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, April 21st. You can submit as many nominations as you like using the form linked below:
