Hello 2017

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I am convinced that Christmas break is more for the Mommas then the kiddos! I really enjoyed having them all home with me every day. I want to share some exciting things happening with the shop this year!

When I opened Antebellum this past June I didn't know what to expect at all. I was hoping I would have a customer or two come in, but the response since that first day has been overwhelming.

Antebellum is growing into something so special that is much bigger than me, I feel. I have really enjoyed meeting all of the wonderful customers and chatting with each of you. You are what makes the shop so special!

As many of you know I have three little ones that keep me on my toes! They are my pride and joy and I am so thankful to be there Mama! Many of you have met them. They love being my little helpers. They are cute, ornery and precious all at the same time!

This past year has been a little tricky being Mom and attemptingb to run a shop, to say the least. This is why after much prayer, scribbling ideas on paper and talking with Nate, I have decided to only open the shop once a month. I know this may be disappointing to some of you and I am truly sorry for that! However, you won't be disappointed for long!

The third weekend of each month Antebellum will be open for a Farmhouse Market. It will begin Thursday evening from 4-7 and go through Friday from 11-6 and Saturday from 10-2.

Each month the shop will be staged differently and full of new farmhouse goods and modest boutique clothing. I am super excited about this!

I will have an entire month to pick and collect goods for you all! No more guessing which days we are open or me feeling bad if I have a sick little one and just can't open it. I honestly believe this will help me serve you so much better and that's my goal!

In addition to these Farmhouse Markets we will be hosting monthly workshops! They will vary from month to month, but will include things like canvas painting classes, pallet painting and many more. This is going to add so much to what we offer our customers!

I am also working on bringing you more local goods. We already carry Farmhouse Frocks' bags that are made in the heart of the Amish country here in Ohio.

I am also excited to announce we are partnering with Jenn of Cobblestone Road Hand lettering to bring you once of a kind coffee mugs and prints! Her work is AMAZING and has been featured at the Country Living Fair!

And last but definitely not least is the clothing! Many of you have expressed the need for cute, modest clothing for those of us that are a little more on the curvy side.

I already have some super cute pieces on their way that start in s small and go up to a 3 extra curvy!

I am so excited to see what this year has in store and what the Lord's plan for all of this is! I am so very thankful for each of you! You make my heart smile and I truly appreciate all of the support you have given me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Love ya'll,

Lanesse'
