A-Leon Battista Alberti
  • Alberti was an Italian Architect and Author. He was born February 14, 1404 and he died April 25th, 1472 an Italian Humanist, Architect and initiator of renaissance art theory.Some of his famous writing were "Della famiglia (written 1435–44); De pictura praestantissima (1435); Della pittura (1436; On Painting, 1956); De re aedificatoria (promulgated in 1452; published in 1485; Ten Books on Architecture, 1955); De iciarchia (1468)."
