The Greatest Canada is canada the best country to live in?

Sometimes we wonder, "Is Canada really the best country to live in?" Well we are here to answer ur question based on the facts. Canada is definitely one of the greatest country to live in. And are some reasons that is can be called one of the best countries to live in .

Canada's physical environment

Canada is rich with varieties of land forms and type of soil. you can enjoy and find all kinds of landform in Canada. Canada is 2nd largest country in the world, having a massive amount of land of 10 million km2. In Canada, more than 26% is evergreen needle leaf and low vegetation take up to 29% of the land. The different landforms that can be found in in Canada are interior planes, Canadian shields , great lakes, St Lawrence lowlands, Appalachians, Hudson bay, and Intuitions mountains.

Autumn in Canada

Each province has its own kind of land form

The western cordillera is located in the western side of Canada mainly part of the province/territory of British Columbia and Yukon. The cordillera is mainly consists of mountains including rolling hills and small rivers.

The interior plains is located in the mainly provinces/territories of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northwest Territories. This includes very large and flat bodies of lands with a minimal amount of hills.

The Canadian Shield is the largest land form region mostly in Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec consisting of trees, rocks, and small bodies of water.

The great lakes- St. Lawrence Lowlands is throughout the lower parts of the provinces of Ontario and Quebec with a great amount of lakes and trees surrounding them.

The Innuitian Mountains are found in a small part of the territory Nunavut contains mountains. The Hudson Bay Arctic lowlands found in northern Ontario, Nunavut as well as Manitoba have spots of rivers throughout the land. The last land form Appalachians located in the lower eastern side of Canada consists of hills and grass.

Benefits of having every landform in Canada

All these landform regions in Canada are very useful and important. Canada has agriculture land in interior plains. This is because the interior plains containing very large and flat bodies of with a minimal amount of hills will benefit with agriculture growth. Farmers would want to settle down in the land form since there is large area of land to make big farms and produce crops. Climate in the interior plains tend to be less cool than other parts of Canada.

Another example would be the land form Innuatian Mountains or western cordillera for the activity downhill skiing. This is because these regions consist of many different mountain types and heights suited for skiers. The climate in these regions would be very cool since it is very close to the Arctic rather than the equator like other regions and will have more precipitation benefiting the skier to ski on.

Changing population

diversity and multicultural

One of the biggest reasons that our country is one of the best countries in the world because its a diverse and multicultural country, welcoming and accepting in the country. Thousands of people immigrate to Canada because its a very secure and safe country. Benefiting the people with free health care and education.

Another reason why Canada is a great country is because it is accepting towards our views as citizens and allows for multiculturalism. Canada is multicultural because we accept all and encourage their practise here in Canada. These points attract others from other countries and Canada allows them to come by immigrating using the point system. There are classes of immigrants such as Family class and Economic immigrants. Family class will allow for more families to be together and Canada will benefit from economic immigrants because skilled workers can contribute to our society in a positive way bringing their knowledge to improve Canada. These are a few reasons why Canada is a great country to live in!

Birth and Death rate

The birth rate in Canada has gone down since previous years. People decided not to have as much children because of numerous reasons being there is not much of a need. Some undeveloped countries need to produce more kids to help families earn money resulting in forms of child labour rather than going to school to get an education because they need to afford necessities. Canada is a developed country and does not allow child labour and allows everyone to have the option of getting an education before enrolling in a job. Everyone male and female is able to acquire an education starting at an early age and have the option to go a wide variety of jobs they are interested in as well as multiple schools they are close to their homes making travelling easy.

Death rates in Canada have decreased since past years as well. Canada’s health care is a major reason for this. Free and great health care is provided so that if a person gets ill they may be treated fast and easily and be less likely to pass away since Canada has developed new and improved technology to prevent diseases such as flu shots. Travelling to hospitals and clinics are easier too because there are many located around each province.

Natural resources

Canada's agriculture

In Canada, you can find all types of industries. For example, Primary Industry, Secondary Industry and Tertiary. In Canada, primary industries are mostly based on nature such as agriculture, forestry, mining, fishing and gas extraction. This industry has played an important role of contributing to 5-10% of the economy. The secondary, or manufacturing, sector is made up of primary and secondary manufacturing establishments. Primary manufacturing companies process raw materials to produce such supplies as iron and steel, pulp and paper, and petroleum products. Service Industry The Canadian ECONOMY has 2 main components, the goods-producing sector and the service sector. The former includes agriculture, forestry, mining, fishing, construction and manufacturing

Primary Industries

Canada's Agriculture

Here are some facts about Canada's agriculture:

· The agriculture food industry employs about 2.1 million Canadians.

· It contributes to $100 billion annually to Canada’s GDP

· Meat processing is Canada’s 3rd largest manufacturing industries

· Canada is one of the largest importer/exporters (ranks 6th)

· Exports to over 70 countries including Japan, United States as well as Mexico

Canada's Forestry

Here are some facts about forests in Canada:

· 1 in 16 Canadians jobs depend on forestry

· We have about 8 different types of forests

· Forests store large quantities of carbon dioxide which prevents greenhouse gases

· Water and soil prevents erosions and acts as natural dams

· Canada’s forests consists of 62% of softwood, 22% of mixed wood and 16% of hardwood

· Mature trees are trees that have been there for more than 60 years

Nafta

The North American Free Trade Agreement is an agreement that is supposed to remove tariff barriers between 3 countries Canada, United states and Mexico. The best thing about NAFTA is it eliminates all tariffs between the three countries in January 2008. This reduces extension by decreasing the costs of imports. Also NAFTA creates agreements on international rights for business investors. This reduces the cost of trade. That spurs investment and growth, especially for small businesses.

Canada's liveable communities

sustainable energy

As you can see in the graph it shows that Canada's energy mostly comes from hydroelectricity. Its good that Canada uses hydroelectricity more than nuclear because Hydroelectric energy is renewable. It is considered as renewable because it uses the earth’s water to produce electricity. Also hydroelectric energy is a clean energy source this means hydroelectric plants do not produce any toxic or greenhouse gases that pollutes the atmosphere.

Canada has many areas for people to settle in including urban and rural neighbourhoods. Everyday these neighbourhoods try to improve and promote sustainability in their cities for future viability. This will benefit the environment as well as humans with the community and financially. Benefits of going green environmentally will have a major impact on solid reduction, reduction in use of fossil fuel dependence and have a major improvement on water and air quality. Community benefits include better health conditions since the reduction of toxin free materials being used minimize potential risk of developing diseases and financially help with expense reduction ultimately resulting in less use of energy, and maintenance costs therefore saving additional money.
