What does your average day look like?
Every day at Yuba Water is a little different. Some of my essential duties include collaborating with staff to ensure that applications are configured to meet specific needs, providing support and troubleshooting problems for the daily users of our business applications and helping to develop custom reference guides and lead training. I also stay up-to-date on training and my own knowledge base for various applications.
Have your essential duties changed since COVID-19? If so, what has changed?
I was actually hired during the onset of COVID-19 and working remotely. None of my essential duties have changed, other than my daily drive to the office has become almost non-existent.

What do you enjoy most about working for Yuba Water?
My role allows me to interact with just about every department at any given point, so that really gives me an opportunity to continually learn what’s happening across the agency and see how we are all interconnected.
Tell us something about yourself that most of us don't know.
A few years ago, a previous coworker and I held an annual cherry pie bake-off in our office. My winning pies earned me the nickname of Betty Crocker.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love being outside, breathing the fresh air and enjoying the sounds of nature. I really enjoy gardening, fishing with my husband and one of my favorite things to do is sit out in my pasture watching my goats and sheep do their thing!
