LVCA Announcements

Our organization wouldn't exist without the support of the Lebanon community. Thank you for the donations, memberships, and gifts. Also, thank you to everyone who donated in memory of Angela Funk and her dedication to the Lebanon art community.

Our annual membership drive will start in August. If you’d like to check this one off your list, please use the membership form to renew your membership. LVCA’s historic building, first established in the early 1800’s, is in need of some major roof repairs. After reviewing bids from local contractors, LVCA plans to move ahead with the roof repairs this summer. Your continued support is especially appreciated as we take on this additional expense for needed maintenance and upkeep.

Thank you to all the artists who participated in our Flora and Fauna show. It was such a wonderful display of various mediums and themes. Art can be picked up on Saturday between 10 am -1 pm.

The warm weather is here and it’s a perfect time to explore the public art of the Lebanon area. The art council has made it easy with our Lebanon Public Art Map

Summer Camps

LVCA has been hosting Art Club 2021 for young people from the Lebanon Middle School. Art teacher, Cynthia Templin is volunteering to continue art instruction over the summer months.

Lebanon Mosaic Mural Camp recently completed a two week project at Stoever's Dam Park in Lebanon PA. This project is a partnership between Lebanon Community Health Council's, Lebanon County Suicide Prevention Task Force and their Remembrance Garden Space, the City of Lebanon, and LVCA. Project coordinator, instructor, and LVCA board member, Aurelis Figueroa, led a group of young people in learning mosaic skills and then installing the mosaic at the park. If you want to see the mosaic mural use the Miller St entrance and park by the nature barn. The mosaic mural is located behind the barn, along the foundation of a greenhouse. It's a nice time to visit with all of the flowers in bloom, and bumblebees, and butterflies attracted to the native plants. This is also a great time to go down to the lake and see the blooming American Lotus.
