During the first week of December, 1913, more than four feet of snow fell on Littleton. Still considered the largest blizzard in the metropolitan Denver area, the snow proved difficult to remove. In Littleton, narrow pathways were dug out along Main Street, as seen here from the top of the Arapahoe County Courthouse looking west.
