Leadership Torch semester in review

I am a writer and the office manager.

As a writer I definitely could've done more but I think what I wrote were good pieces. I plan on writing more stories next semester and not just random stories, stories that interest me. I would love to write more about ways you can volunteer in the community. As a writer, you definitely need to have good social skills so you aren't scared to talk to your sources. I was definitely nervous during my first interview but after that you get used to it. You also need to be on top of what is happening in our school and the country so you can be ready for brainstorms. The last and most important thing you need to know, to be a good journalist would be to always stay organized!

As office manager it was my job to keep the room cleaned up or as clean as I could. There were a few days where I went through and threw away food and trash. I also went through all the things on the shelves and tables. Next semester I definitely plan to clean more and make it clear that you can eat in there, you just need to pick up after yourself.
