1.0 Context

Cafeteria Checkout raises the problem of efficiency presented by the central cafeteria where, due to lack of check out machines or inefficient distribution, long lines and delays are formed at the time of payment. In the presented problem I can identify 3 main actors:

  • Bizagians
  • Product
  • Product

Therefore, I propose two solutions, Bizagi Café Central and Bizagi Coffee Scanner, where the three insights interact between them through the cell phone with the idea of connecting users with products and automating payment, without affecting the machines that are already working.

2.0 Bizagi Central Cafe

This application is designed for Bizagians Comfort, where they can formalize their order and their products without the need to be physically inside the cafeteria, just by checking a digital catalog, the different products and meals, which will decongests the queues and its efficiency will not be reduced by the growth of the company and increase in the number of employees.

3.0 Bizagi Central Cafe App

Bizagi central café will have different views for ease of use where users can select ready-made products select the ingredients of their choice in the case of salads, sandwiches, among others, besides redirecting them at check out where they can confirm their order and conclude the transaction. In this exercise I illustrate the 4 most relevant views to exemplify the entry, selection and payment process, by launching a partner online payment system (PSE or Pay-U).

3.1 Final Design

The visual identity of Central Café is based on the colors and fonts used by Bizagi combined with white spaces that, in addition to providing oxygen to the app, makes the food images stand out and look more striking and appetizing.

4.0 Bizagi Scanner Cafe

Coffee Scanner works in a similar way to the previous proposal, with the difference that with coffee scanner, the NFC (Near Field Communication) technology or the QR or barcode reader (for those who do not have a cellphone with the previous functionality) is used for product selection into the cart. After all the products are in the cart, the check-out process will continue by launching a partner online payment system (PSE or Pay-U).
