Tuberculosis by: Lucien

Many cases of tuberculosis start off with coughs lasting up to 3 or more weeks. Many people who have tuberculosis also have bloody mucus. Night chills, reduced appetite, and unexplained weight loss.

This is a man coughing, does he TB? I don't know I'm not a Doctor.

Who's At Risk?

  • If someone you know has TB you are at high risk of getting it.
  • If you are really afraid of TB avoid the following places Russia, Africa, Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
  • If you work at a hospital that treats people with TB you are at high risk.
  • Sharing things with others such as drinks and food
This is a pig man sharing a drink with others he is now at risk of TB.

The treatment takes 9 months from a special doctor and you need to take antibiotics to clear the bacteria
