Life in Different Perspectives

The spotted hawk swoops by and accuses me, he complains of my gab and my loitering.

I too am not a bit tamed, I too am untranslatable,

I sound my barbaric yawp over the roofs of the world.

The last scud of day holds back for me,

It flings my likeness after the rest and true as any on the shadow’d wilds,

It coaxes me to the vapor and the dusk.

I depart as air, I shake my white locks at the runaway sun,

I effuse my flesh in eddies, and drift it in lacy jags.

I bequeath myself to the dirt to grow from the grass I love,

If you want me again look for me under your boot-soles.

You will hardly know who I am or what I mean,

But I shall be good health to you nevertheless,

And filter and fibre your blood.

Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged,

Missing me one place search another,

I stop somewhere waiting for you.

People been talking about it

We won't just stand here in silence

Can't stop the fire from rising rising

Ooh, ooh

People don't you be afraid

So many innocents slain

This is an era for change

Change

And Malcolm's probably turning in his grave

Every shade was beautifully made

And powerful

There's so much strength in you and me

Powerful

A breath away from victory

I matter, you matter, we matter all

I matter, you matter, we matter all

Powerful

Powerful

I see a colorful future

Where skin don't define any human

And stars are the only thing shooting

Shooting

Ooh, ooh

Mothers who bury their child

How can we sit there and hide

Change comes when all take a stand now

Stand up

Stand up

Martin's speech still echoes in my brain

Every shade was beautifully made

And powerful

There's so much strength in you and me

Powerful

A breath away from victory

I matter, you matter, we matter all

I matter, you matter, we matter all

Powerful

Powerful

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Powerful

There's so much strength in you and me

Powerful

A breath away from victory

I matter, you matter, we matter all

I matter, you matter, we matter all

Powerful

Powerful

i picked this song/poem because there is a connection to life death and the trials and tribulations in both the poem and the song that makes both of them come together in a beautiful way that life is precious in the song but in the poem death is where happiness in the poem and find out that the end is only the beginning.

the analysis of the song and how important it is in a value that makes the song very different and very important if you listen very closely. the mood of how the song senses pain and hurt and wanted to change in what people have fought for and when you hear the lyrics you can hear the pain in the voices of life death and being able to just be yourself without being judged. the song uses repletion to the word powerful and that we need to make a change in the world

the analysis of the poem the mood sense that he is happy about death and that it is his timer to leave this world and got to a more happier place. he uses personfication as he says that he is a hawk

the most important part / theme of the song in my opinion is that in life you should not be judge by the color of your skin or how much money you make and it is so important because people for decades have been fighting for the right to be who they are and who they want to be the song powerful gives hope and power to the powerless.

the theme of the poem and why i picked the poem is because it shows happiness after death or what ever you believe happens after you die and shows that life in hard and you have been through so much everybody has from different situation but at the end of the day there is always hope even when it does not look like there will be but after a storm there is always a rainbow
