Warmups and Embedded Technical Practice

Warming up a player can consist of activating the neural networks and what I refer to as Technical Memory. If we can create opportunities to practice, perfect and clean up technical sequences without increasing the energy exertion or work load of the athlete. The Walking Ball Strike progression is six progressive exercises designed to maximize attention to hip movement, ankle flexion, the "knee snap" and eye-foot coordination.
