My Psychodynamic Self Mikayla Maciejewski

Psychodynamic Theorists emphasized that social tensions in childhood yields your personality in the future.

When I was nine I joined a cheerleading team. Being on a team when I was young helped me work well with others as I grew older. Being on a team also helped me learn how to make new friendships because my teammates didn't go to school with me.

Regression is a defense mechanism, it means to retreat to a more childish stage or trying to retreat to comfortability.

Whenever I get stressed I talk to my cousin because she is where I feel the most comfortable. She has been with me since we were children so she is a way to regress back to simpler times.
