Stevie Wonder Overcoming all obstacles

Child prodigy

Stevie Wonder (Stevland Hardaway Judkins) was born in 1950. By the age of 10 he had already taught himself several instruments.

Stevie was signed to Barry Gordy Jr.'s Motown label at age 11.

Over the years, Stevie has created over 23 studio albums and has has R&B chart toppers on every one.

Stevie Wonder is my favorite artist for several reasons. Most obviously, he overcame the obstacle of being blind and became on of the greatest musicians of all time. He also overcame several other obstacles, such as poverty, hunger, abuse, and even survived a severe car crash that induced a coma.

He was also involved in the civil rights movement.

My favorite song is "Living for the City"
