My Social Cognitive Self MIkayla Maciejewski

Reciprocal Determinism is the theory that a person's behavior both influences and is influenced by personal factors and the social environment.

Bishop Feehan is a relatively small campus which influenced my preference on whether or not I wanted to attend a small university or a big one. I've become used to small class sizes which caused me to prefer colleges with smaller classes instead of larger lectures. Both my top schools, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and St. John's University have a class size of about ten students.

The "spotlight effect" is our tendency to believe that people notice and evaluate more than they really do.

When I give presentations I get nervous and to me my voice gets very shaky. However if I ask a peer about my voice throughout the presentation they will often say they didn't hear anything different at all.
