Miriam died and was buried in the wilderness of Zin

There was a lack of water in the community

The people were angered because of the lack of water, so they attacked Moses.

Moses struck a rock twice with his staff, and allowed the congregation and cattle to drink.

Because Moses and Aaron didn't trust God, God denied them access into the promise land

Number 20: 1-13 taught me that I should do what God tells me to do and stay faithful. It taught me I should trust in him and stay close to God.
