Meet and greet with your English speaking Driver at your disembark in Civitavecchia port and drive to Rome, the Eternal city where you will meet your English speaking guide for the day. Start the day visiting the historical center of Rome and the major highlights of the Ancient Rome and the Famous Squares of the Eternal City. Visit from outside the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.

Your private guide will illuminate the city with amusing and interesting stories of the art, politics and history of Rome, bringing the Ancient Rome and its majestic past to life.

You will visit outside the Colosseum, whose real name is the Flavian Amphitheater as it was built by two emperors of the Flavian family; Vespasian began its construction in 72 a.D. and his son Titus oversaw its completion in 80 a.D. In the same square you will admire the Arch of Constantine erected in the IV century a.D. and the Arch of Titus in the I century a.D. You will then continue to explore by foot the Roman Forum (Outside), the biggest archaeological area in the world just in the heart of Rome.

Afterward, you will walk through the historical center of Rome discovering some of the most famous sites such as the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon. Enjoy a short break in the Trevi area for a light lunch, a gelato or some shopping at your leisure. If you wish to ensure a return visit to the Eternal City, legend says to turn your back and toss a coin into the Trevi fountain.

Next up on your tour of Rome, you will transfer to the Vatican City to visit one of the most impressive artistic patrimonies in the world: the Vatican Museums. The complex of the Vatican Museums includes the Sistine Chapel, center of the Conclaves with the divine frescoes of the Genesis and the Last Judgment, marvelous works of Michelangelo Buonarroti. You will proceed to visit Saint Peter's Basilica, the greatest Basilica in the World whose total surface overcomes the 15.000 square meters and the famous Saint Peter’s Square with its massive colonnades by Bernini.

At the end of the visit, head back to your vehicle and begin the return journey to the port escorted by your English speaking Driver.
