Welcome to the World Session Guide

Welcome to the World sessions

The session is all about baby; led by them, organic, honest and raw.

My approach is simple and minimalist, with no posing or props. I don’t think your baby needs anything more than just to be themselves.

We’ll get some pictures of your new family together. These are memories to look back on, the connections between you and capturing those tiny toes that won’t stay that small for long.

It's best if your baby is between 7 and 14 days old

That’s because they’re still at the sleepy stage, are very flexible with new and glowing skin. If they are older then we can we can still do the session, just bare in mind they are more alert the older they are.

Each session lasts between 2 and 3 hours

That might sound like a long time but I don’t want you to feel rushed. We’ll put the kettle on, have some homemade cake and it allows plenty of time for any feeds and changes. My experience is that the more relaxed you are, the more relaxed your baby will be and you’ll get better photographs – it’s my job to make sure this happens.

Have a think about what to wear

· The studio will be warm, so wear layers

· Plain styles work best; no stripes or logos

· Colour-wise, black and white both photograph well

· And, above all, wear something you’re comfortable in

Siblings are welcome to join in

But I’ll do these shots at the beginning, or end, of the session so they don’t get too fed up hanging about.

·Sessions start at from £50.00

·Digital packages start from £150.00

Kind words

Recently had the newborn photo shoot with our daughter Ella. The overall experience was super. The shoot itself was relaxed and Becky was very professional and friendly. The personal touches made it extra special. The photos are amazing, the only problem being choosing which ones to print. Cannot recommend Becky highly enough.

Absolutely over the moon with our photo shoot Becky recently done for us. We started with my maternity shoot followed by our newborn shoot and both times Becky made us feel so relaxed. Its the little things that really stand out and make her service above the rest! The lemon drizzle cake and the cute little knitted booties were such a nice gesture! She takes the time to let you settle in/eat cake/feed the baby./have a coffee etc and nothing was rushed. Id never met Becky before the shoot but once in her studio I felt like id known her forever! Lovely lovely lady, could have stayed and chatted all day. The results of our photos were outstanding and choosing only a select amount proved difficult! Becky was as patient as ever and helped us a lot to decide. I have had a lot of people complimenting our photos and would highly recommend EnaMay to all family & friends! Thanks so much again - I am in awe of your work!
