A Simple Eating Program

Our complete optimal health system focuses on balancing blood sugar. Our programs are scientifically designed and have been recommended by over 20,000 doctors since 1980. There are many plans that address specific health issues and activity levels, but they all allow you to eat six well-designed protein/carb balanced meals a day with the instruction and encouragement of a health coach to adopt simple, daily, healthy habits for lifelong optimal health.

Diabetes

I understand that meal planning while being diabetic is challenging. As a certified health coach, I will work one-on-one with you to limit calories and maintain healthy blood-sugar levels. No matter if you are pre-diabetic, type 1 or type 2, the time to improve your health is now. Each of our diabetes plans are precisely designed to incorporate small meals every two or three hours, which evenly distributes carbohydrates and protein and maintains consistent blood sugar levels. The goal of our plan is to not only teach you lifelong habits, but to decrease or eliminate medications at the discretion and direction of your doctor.

Seniors

For many adults, 65 and older, life is full of family, friends and time to fulfill dreams. Achieving a healthy weight and incorporating healthy habits are great ways to increase energy and longevity. Whether you want to improve your wellness to be around for your family, serve your community, or enjoy a more active, fulfilling life, I will work with you every step of the way until your goals are met.

About Our Seniors Programs

  • Program 1 - Healthy and active seniors with fewer than 100 lbs. to lose. Active means you spend an average of 30 minutes a day engaging in exercise.
  • Program 2 – Healthy and active seniors with fewer than 100 lbs. to lose, but prefer to do more than 45 minutes of strenuous exercise per day.
  • Program 3 –Seniors with a sedentary lifestyle and more than 100 pounds to lose.

Gout

If you are suffering from gout, then you are well aware of the stress that excess weight can put on your joints, increasing your risk of hyperuricemia. I can help you gradually maintain a healthy weight with our custom gout program. This protein-restricted plan is designed to moderate uric acid levels, and encourages choosing food with lower amounts of purines. During your health assessment I will listen to any concerns you may have, as well as set obtainable goals and help you meet them.

Nursing Mothers

During this important time in your life, I want to help you increase your health, confidence and energy as a new mom. This plan is specifically designed for nursing mothers whose baby is at least two months old. Our custom nursing program can support your body's nutritional needs, promote steady weight loss, and optimize healthy growth for your baby.

Teens

As a certified coach will be by your side every step of the way as you adapt to new simple, daily healthy habits. I believe the first step to achieving your goals is setting a positive mindset. Every simple new habit, every healthy decision, every positive change leads to more. I offer simple, easy to follow plans for teens between the ages of 13 and 18. These plans will be adjusted to your needs and help you reach a healthy weight so that you can gain confidence and energy.

About Our Teen Programs

  • Get Healthy Now Plan - Teens who have a BMI higher than 95% of teens their age and who may benefit from losing weight safely and gradually should use this plan.
  • Steady As You Grow Plan - Teens with a BMI between 85% and 95% of others their age should use this plan to maintain their current weight as they grow taller so they can be more healthy and active.

REAL RESULTS

Jeannie: "At 210+ pounds, I had spent 15-20 years trying every weight loss plan and diet; reading self improvement books; doing twelve step work.... I couldn’t remember a time when seeing photographs of myself or walking by a mirror didn’t cause me to cringe in shame I just couldn’t believe that this size 22 woman was me. But nothing I tried to change about my appearance worked for any length of time. Even exercising 5 days a week changed nothing. In total desperation, I had gone so far as to get quotes for lap band surgery. Fortunately (and I only say that now), it was not financially feasible. Trey & Jenn B: "In June of 2009 we began our journey. Trey was in treatment for an autoimmune disease and had spent a year and a half on chemo and steroids trying to beat it. He knew that he was not in a healthy state and that the foods that he was putting in were not helping him create health, so he knew that is was time for a change. He really wanted to see what his body could do to heal itself if he were closer to a healthy BMI. Jenn was not ready for a change. She was very reluctant to start the program because of some of her concepts about what a "diet" should look like. And she had given up hope. Hope that she would be anything but a morbidly obese wife and mother. She agreed to start with Trey, on the same day, so that she would not be the reason that he failed.
