Monkton Park Newsletter 9th November 2018

Welcome back to all our families, we hope you all had an enjoyable half term break. Yesterday saw the whole school outside and busy on our Outdoor Learning Day. Raised beds were cleared and the wildflower meadow prepared for the Spring with hundreds of bulbs being planted. Look out for photos in next weeks newsletter. Today was an example of how, in schools, no two days are the same as we commemorated Remembrance Day. Y6 children shared their stories of local soldiers who were lost in WW1 followed by two minutes silence. Thank you to all those who have contributed to our Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
