The Classic Detox cleanse that I chose for my research comes with 6 different juices to be consumed in a specific order.
Each one is made with different organic ingredients, which are reflected in the vibrant colours of each bottle.
The first one of the day is called "classic greens" and is light green. It's made with: apple, cucumber, romaine lettuce, celery, lemon, spinach, ginger, kale and parsley. The inclusion of fruits in this juice made it easy to drink, despite the colour. The ginger was really prominent in the taste for me.
The second juice is called "sweet life" and is light yellow. It has pineapple, cucumber, apple, lime and mint. This one was very sweet, like the name suggests and even tastier than the first one, because it is fruit based.
The third juice is the dark green one, called "all u need". It was the hardest one to get down. It is made with carrots, celery, spinach and parsley, so there was barely any sweetness to it. It had a very thick, earthy taste.
The fourth juice is the most unique of the 6, called the "master cleanse". It was orange-yellow, and my personal favourite. It is made with water, lemon, maple syrup and cayenne pepper. It was sweet, sour and spicy all at the same time. This one isn't filling but it is very refreshing. It is also probably the easiest one to replicate at home.
The fifth juice is the "roots remedy", which is the red one. It contains cucumber, apple, celery, carrots, beets, lemon, ginger, parsley and mint. This one had a hearty taste and was filling after the master cleanse. It was easy to drink as well.
The last, "creamy cashew", is thicker in texture because it is the only one that's made with nuts (cashews) as well as water, dates, vanilla bean, cinnamon and sea salt. You can tell by the ingredients that it is designed to be tasty. It was sweet and creamy. Because of the nuts, however, there were small chunks through the juice so I tossed it in the blender before I drank it, just to make the texture more appealing.
