Take a stroll with me along the Sassagoula River at Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside and French Quarter! Their tranquil beauty and southern charm will amaze you!
The Riverside Mill is the food court where you can grab a quick bite to eat.
Boatwright's Dining Hall serves up some great Cajun dishes. This is the only table service location on this resorts property.

The boat transportation to Port Orlean's French Quarter and Disney Springs is located outside the food court area of Port Orleans Riverside.
Port Orleans Riverside is a large resort with lots of winding paths. If you are traveling with kids, book a Preferred Room or request to be near a bus stop. I have also labeled the location of the Royal Guest Rooms.
There are some fun activities happening at Port Orleans Riverside.
Not the best picture but this is the main pool , Ol' Man Island at Riverside. It has a great water slide and other splash areas. There are 5 other leisure pools located throughout this large resort as well
Carriage Rides are available nightly and the cost is $45.
Enjoy a campfire on the Bayou!

Alligator Bayou...this section is quite the walk from the main building and there were no elevators! This section also has the rooms that will sleep 5.
Flat screen TV above the pull down, twin size bed.
The pull down bed. I slept in this bed and I am 5' 2". I had to bend my legs to have my whole body in the bed length wise. This is definitely for a child or a person small in stature.
The mini fridge and coffee pot. The room does come stocked with coffee.
The tub and toilet are separate from the getting ready area.
This area has a double sink and two mirrors and then an area to hang clothes. There is also an ironing board and iron.
Stop by the fishing hole and catch a fish!

Each bus stop has a TV screen that tells you the time of bus arrivals. There are several bus stops throughout this resort. Sometimes it may be more convenient to head to the one up front. The stops towards the back of the resort are the last ones and sometimes the buses are full!
Rent a bike or surrey bike!
There are plenty of paths to ride on!

French Quarter has a very nice pool area with a great slide and splash area.
There is a great park located at French Quarter as well!

Sassagoula Flatworks and Food Company is the quick service food court located a French Quarter. You would have to go over to Riverside for a table service meal.
