Battle Of the Nashville William T. sherman

December 15-16, 1864, The Battle of Nashville. Leader John Bell Hood sent the powerful and well-known vicious Tennessee Army to the North to fight against the North. The Union, Leader George Henry Thomas, destroyed the barbarous Tennessee army of the south. This allowed to set up Sherman’s march and Lincoln to be reelected.
William T Sherman starred this march to get Lincoln reelected and supported the North. An army of 62,00 men from Atlanta toward Savannah, which was total destruction. Sherman's March was people starting of people just wanting to end the war, marching and creating destruction.
