  • Other: Coordinate through your principal

Our next artist is Raphael (Raffaello Santi or Raffaello Sanzio), Renaissance painter. The hands-on project will require colored pencils. Art Literacy will have some supplies available, but we'd appreciate sharing yours if you have colored pencils and sharpeners in your classrooms. A friendly Art Literacy Volunteer will be contacting you soon to schedule a Raphael lesson for your students.

Many thanks for supporting Art Literacy,

Margaret

Remember it is OK to have N/A on our report cards for Social Studies topics we have not covered! (Or other standards yet to be taught.) This will probably lead to some conversation/explanation at conferences for some parents.

Earlier this month I spoke to the gentleman who runs Glen's Gizmos. He is a local and through local grants has been given funding to bring Science Nights to all the area schools. I'd like to look to March as a month to consider having a Science Night. We will need to coordinate some volunteers and have the space but that is about it for our obligation! This will be a great opportunity for some fun for our families!

He is very willing to coordinate with a group of teachers. Please let me know if you want to be a part of this night.

Do you feel the Zen?
