The #JPECDifference

THANK YOU to those that have shared their #JPECDifference with us! If you have not already, please share your story! Use the following questions only as needed to spark your thinking.

  • What makes JPEC different than your previous school experience?
  • What do you appreciate and value about JPEC?
  • What is special and unique about JPEC?
  • What difference has JPEC made for you and your family?

Help us highlight the #JPECDifference!

Over the next two months we ask that each of our families takes a moment to post on Facebook and Twitter, or other social media account, a highlight about JPEC using the hashtag #JPECDifference. Thank you for your support!

Spring Seasons Will Be Kicking Off Soon!

College Preparatory Update

Miss Heather Hillman

Hello Families!

Highlights from the Week!

This past week College Prep students enjoyed participating in Spirit Week for Reading Month! Each Focus Group also participated in a Door Decorating contest where each group decorated there door in a different literary genre.

Twin Day!!

Monday, March 13 - Celebrating Pi Day with Miss Lloyd!

Miss Lloyd's math classes will be celebrating pi day! Pi day is usually celebrated on March 14th (3.14), but we will be celebrating a day early due to our mid-winter break. Pi is a mathematical constant, which we use quite a bit when studying geometry. To celebrate, I am asking for parents, who are willing and able, to send in circular or round foods. Cookies, small pies, circular pretzels, oranges, and other treats would be appropriate. The students will be finding the area and circumference of our yummy treats! Please email Miss Lloyd, donna.lloyd@jacksonpec.org, if you have any questions.
