James D. Montgomery Hunter Montgomery

Born Mar. 29, 1888 in Johnston North Carolina, married to Callie Loma Montgomery. He worked on many Tobacco fields as a child as well as growing up. He was a "Old Immigrant.' He provided his family by selling Tobacco and the farms were pasted down through generations. My great great grandfather was drafted into World War I as a 23 year old teenager. His wife was to take care of the house and to be a nurse if anything was to go wrong. while he was gone his 7 year old son (my great grandfather) was to take over the farms and to keep them up to date while he was off fighting in the war. I wish i could of met him by the way it sound he was a hard working man and did things e needed to to make sure his family was happy, so therefore i will defiantly leave some respect on his name.
