Digital Citizenship Angel To

1. Remember the Golden Rule

Serve others as if you were serving the LORD.

2. Don't Brag

Let the one who boasts boast in the LORD.

3. Avoid TMI

We don't need to know if a new pimple has sprouted from your face. Keep it to yourself.

4. Think about the reader

"Just had breakfast!" I don't think people are really interested in that, so don't tweet like that.

5. Keep relationship details to yourself

Don't post solely about your relationship. Every moment has meaning, so keep it to yourself.

6. Don't be cryptic

You're just begging for attention; don't post like this. Be direct if you're going to seek help. "No one understands..." Understands what? Please just be upfront.

7. Quit complaining

Jesus suffered on the cross, so don't complain about some mid discomfort you might have.

8. Curate your photos

Like a painting, evaluate your photos. Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

9. Change your settings

It's not really the best idea to make your profile public, unless you're not revealing anything private. Someone could also know your location and personal life from your photos, so set your account settings to private.

10. Post smart

The Bible says to do everything for the Lord, and that includes everything you post. Be encouraging to one another.
