Fidel Castro Rebel, Dictator, Ruthless

Revolution

Fidel Castro was part of a rebel plot in Cuba to over through the dictator of Cuba currently in power. He was successful in how attempts and became the leader of Cuba. His Government was not in great condition and sufferd heavily to to ti trade embargo with the U.S and relied heavily on Soviet policies.

Power and Authority

Fidel Castro was disgusted with the previous leadership in Cuba and sought to vastly improve the social conditions people were living in but at a cost. In addition to improving social conditions he also began striping the rights of the people and locking up those who went against him.
