Drug Testing for Welfare Recipients

Drug testing in welfare recipients would be a good thing.

This would ensure that the money for food isn't being sold for money to buy drugs. Less children would go hungry.

When filling out the application for assistance the applicant would take a drug test when turning in the application. If the drug test is failed the applicant must wait six months to reapply. If the applicant is already getting assistance they would lose the help for six months.

The money they would be getting in assistance would go for treatment. When re applying for the assistance they will be re drug tested if they pass they will get assistance and be randomly drug tested throughout.

If people going to work have to take a drug test to obtain a job, people receiving assistance should take one as well.
