In high school I played field hockey and track. I always knew I wanted to go to college but didn’t start to think about it until 8th grade, I wanted to be an orthodontist...until I did an internship after my first year of college. Jobs: CVS, summer camp counselor

I graduated from UB with my Bachelor of Arts. I majored in History and minored in Health and Human Services. After graduation, I stayed at UB for an extra year to take education classes, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. Jobs: Summer camp director

My husband and I moved to Long Island, NY and I took classes part time at Queens College to become a Home and Careers teacher. Jobs: Special Education teacher, Home and Careers teacher.

I was fortunate to be able to teach on Long Island but I really missed my home in the Adirondacks so we moved to Queensbury and I was SUPER HAPPY to get the job to teach here at OWWMS.
