Beauty cannot be judged objectively, for what one person finds beautiful or admirable may not appeal to another

All people, regardless of race, class, or age, share a sense of what is attractive

Even infants sense beauty similarly to adults

Some benefits to being an attractive person is finding jobs easily and attract mates. For males, they have symmetrical bodies and seem to be more muscular and athletics than others.

Men and women, both, value appearances but men place more value on appearance than women

men favor a woman with a "tiny jaw" and "curves"
women favor a man with a "heavy lower face"

People find different things attractive, bugs do as well

Female bugs prefer males who have well matched wings. This is because male bugs with symmetrical wings best compete for food.

Fun Facts:

WHR stands for waist-hip ratio

The golden ratio is 1.618
