EMU Football adds 26 in 2017 Recruiting Class
"Our class got off to a really good start in early January when we welcomed our four early enrollees," said Creighton. "They are already part of the family and are working hard to make us better. Today is the culmination of a very long process of identifying, evaluating, building relationships and ultimately inviting guys to be a part of Eastern Michigan football. I have always evaluated a class after they have finished their careers but going into it we are excited about this group. We have both built for the future and brought in guys who will compete to play right away."
coaching staff Additions
"Our offense was the most productive in school history and Coach Keen played an integral role in its development," said Creighton. "He has coached quarterbacks and coordinated offenses very successfully for the majority of his impressive career. He will provide continuity while putting his own touch on making us better."
"Coach Meadows' resume is very impressive," remarked Creighton. "He has gone into three different programs in the past decade and quickly made astounding improvements on the offensive line. He is an excellent fit for our program because of those on the field results and because philosophically we are on the same page - his relationship with the players and growing them up as men matters to him."
"We are excited about the addition of Coach Nunez to our coaching staff," remarked Creighton. "He brings great energy and is passionate about recruiting. We have made great strides in our Special Teams over the past three years and I believe that he can continue the process of improvement in those areas. He will also be coaching our tight ends – the same position he coached this past year."
