Harn Museum Madison Evens

The cover photo was just a picture in the museum that I liked.

Lights and Towers by Yvonne Jacquette

This piece of art is called Lights and Towers by Yvonne Jacquette and it is made from woodcut. Usually i do not see artwork that is woodcut. It really stuck out to me because it looks so cool in person (you can not really see how cool it looks in this picture).

This part of the museum was very appealing to me because of how open it was. I also liked how much outside light came into it. You can see that by the brightness on the floor.I also like how there was not a lot going on in this exhibit it was like you were being eased into the museum and it's exhibits.

This painting is The Woodcutter by Robert Gwathemy. It is oil on canvas. This painting appeals to my core values because it shows people working hard. I believe that hard work leads to success. Therefore, seeing this appealed to my emotions as well. It made me have the desire to work harder in every aspect.

This is a painting called Overlook Mountain, Woodstock, New York by Ernest Fiene. This piece of art made me think about the good life because I a from New Jersey and have been to Woodstock New York many times because we have to drive through there when we visit my family. This picture just reminds me of home and being with family. It also is just very calm and relaxing to look at. It is peaceful and in my ideal good life I want it to be a peaceful life.
