Hip Hop Genuis Hour

Hip hop was started by this guy Dj Kool Herc.

People say he was the founder of it.
Jay Z was a big influence on hip hop and he inspired a lot of people and even better he won 21 Grammys. Also one of his songs sold 585,000 copies in the first week.
This guy Grandmaster Flash he made a beat and everyone wanted to learn it and it was pretty awesome.

The thing is if we really compared music today to music a while ago it is way different because back then it was mostly dj's doing all the work and now it is mostly the singers singing.

The people on the top are hip hop artists now and bottom is back then .
