LMS Science Fair Club (NEW!)

If you have a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math… If you are creative and enjoy finding and solving problems… Then you are invited to join the LMS Science Fair club. This year Mr. Egan plans on mentoring 12 individual projects and 4 team projects (2-3 students). Students select their own topic and create original research on it to present. All participating students will compete/present their research at the Science and Engineering Fair of Metro Detroit (SEFMD), March 14th at COBO Hall. This event is one of the largest science fairs in the country and finalists qualify for the national science fair, Broadcom Masters. No time, no problem! Most meetings are once a week during lunch! To find out more, interested students and parents are invited to attend an information session on Thursday, November 2nd at 7 pm in the Collaboration Studio. You can also join our Schoology Group using the access code: 6X9GW-SDHK9

Building/Site Sinking Fund Information

In a little over a month, you will be asked to decide an important issue in the November election. The Troy School District is asking voters to consider a 1 mill Building and Site Sinking Fund. This fund would be created at NO INCREASE TO YOUR CURRENT TAX RATE and would allow us to make necessary repairs and refurbishments to Larson and the rest of our schools. If you have questions about this proposal, there is lots of information and a FAQ link on the TSD website (link below). But the most important thing to do right now is to make sure you are registered to vote! The last day to register is Tuesday, October 10th. For more information, click on the link below.

Magazine Sale/Renewal Link

For many years, Larson has raised funds by encouraging our community to order/renew magazines through Great American Fundraising. We receive a substantial profit for each order placed through the link below. Please consider helping Larson out by renewing your magazines here. All profits from the sale go directly back into the classroom!
