Just a quick reminder that JPEC does have school on Monday, July 5th. JTA buses will not be running, however, so plan accordingly. Thank you.

JPEC Student End of Year Picnic

The Falcon Broadcasting Team has worked hard to organize an end of year picnic for both CP and EC to be held on July 7th. But, they need your support to make it a success! If you are able to contribute any of the following supplies, please let us know by emailing debra.holton@jacksonpec.org. We would need supplies dropped off the morning of July 7th, or early if the items are non-perishable.

Shakanna Blake, who is a district parent and owner of Kennicakes, has graciously donated mac-n-cheese, baked beans and a dessert. Thank you so much, Mrs. Blake!

JTA Busses for Across the Line Summer Programming

The JATA bus system will be up and running for those that are enrolled in JPEC’s summer program, Across the Line. The students will arrive at JPEC at 8:45a and be picked up at 1:00p – Mon-Thurs. If you would like specific information based on your address, please visit their website at mijata.org or call them at 517.783.6437.

JPEC Annual Survey

Each year we ask you to provide us feedback on our communication, the JPEC culture, and your experiences over the past year. Please see below a link to our brief annual survey form. We would greatly appreciate each of you to take a moment to provide us your thoughts regarding this past academic year and the upcoming 2021-2022 year.

Across the Line Summer Programming

JPEC is offering summer school programming for eligible students from July 12 - August 20. In-person classes will run from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from July 12 to July 29. After that time, students will be virtual from August 2 through August 19. If your student has been enrolled, you will be receiving information by mail, email and SwiftK12 within the next few days.

JPEC Fall Orientation

Please mark your calendar for JPEC Orientation, to be held August 18th. Detailed information will be forthcoming.

Early college news

Early College Prom 2021 -An Enchanted Forest

  • When: June 25th
  • Where: Cascades Manor House (outside event)
  • Who: All Early College students are welcome, and last year's graduates. Guest passes can be collected at the front desk. Sorry, no College Prep students.
  • How much: $30 per person, on sale at the front desk. $40 at the door. All guests must have a pre-approved guest pass.

CP Student Awards

On Thursday, June 24th, teachers and staff took time to recognize students for Citizenship, Perfect Attendance, and Academic Honors. Due to COVID-19, the ceremony was held with students only this year. Next year, we will welcome families in to celebrate our student success! Congratulations to our award winners!

CP Field Day Donations Needed

The College Prep will be holding a Field Day on July 7, and are in need of some supplies. Please contact aaron.cory@jacksonpec.org or serafin.llerena@jacksonpec.org if you are able to contribute.
