Good morning Mulberry families....
This week we are focusing on importance of music in Montessori environment and its benefit in child development.
Music is essential to your child’s development, as Dr. Maria Montessori discovered many years ago when developing the Montessori curriculum.
Music helps children develop skills in communication and self-expression. It brings joy to the Montessori classroom and is instrumental in developing a child’s basic math and literacy performance. Best of all, children of any age and at any level can benefit from music in the classroom.
Music enhances a child’s brain development.
Music helps children understand and communicate their emotions.
Music helps develop child’s spatial skills. It’s simple. Music is all about patterns. It involves ratios, proportions and even basic math skills.
Music is a mood booster.

It's hard to believe It's the end of another school year. We have lived, loved, laughed , studied learned and enriched our lives together this year. I wish it could go on indefinitely. It has been my pleasure and privilege to watch their personality unfold day by day.
I've worked with your flower, and helped it to grow.
I'm returning it now, but I want you to know...
This flower is precious, as dear as can be.
Love it, take care of it, and you will see...
A bright new bloom, with every day.
It grew and blossomed, in such a wonderful way.
In September just a bud, January, a bloom;
Now a lovely blossom, I'm returning in June.
Remember, this flower, as dear as can be,
Though rightfully yours,
Part will always belong to me! !!!!!
