Newsletter - Wednesday 7th February 2018

Welcome to 2018!!!!!!!!! It’s great to see how much our students have grown over the holidays and how excited they are to start a new school year. Welcome to all our new families, we are so glad that you have joined us and look forward to having you as part of our school community.

Pastors' Corner

This week saw the first Combined Chapel of the year. It was a time when the whole campus community could come together and seek the blessings of God upon us as we start the school year.

The key bible text for this program was - 1 Timothy 1:7 ‘For God did not give us a spirit of fear but one of power....’

May God bless us as a school this year, our teachers, our homes and our students.

Welcome to 2018 - The Chaplaincy Team

Acts of Service

Last year, the Year 7's of Wahroonga Adventist School completed a service project that helped out a local organisation known as The Dish. The Dish is a soup van operated by St. John Uniting Church Wahroonga. Each week it serves a nourishing three course meal to those who come from the local area. Last year the Year 7's fundraised money and items, to make up into Christmas packages, the packages included soap, shampoo, socks, hats and drink bottles. These packages were handed out to those who came for the Christmas meal.
