September 8 - Picture Day

September 20 - Teacher Development Day (No School)

September 23 - Parent-Teacher Conferences (3:00-8:30)

On Friday the entire faculty and all of the students wore their Diamond Fork t-shirts for our opening assembly. It was an epic kickoff for a Year To Remember! Spanish Fork High Marching Band, Cheerleaders, and Student Council visited our 6th and 7th grade and inspired them to work hard, be kind, and always be their better selves! We celebrated the first year ever of Diamond Fork Middle School and encouraged all students to do their part to make this "A Year to Remember!" Check out our website or our Facebook page for pictures, a video, and more information.

It is a good idea for bus students to go to their locker before 7th period so that they can head straight to the bus after school.

Here is the teal pants crew! Shout out to Mr. Francis, Mr. Hansen, Ms. Nedesky, and Mrs. Scott!

Thank you to all of the parents, students, and teachers that made this first week amazing!

Everyone at Diamond Fork is ALL IN for learning!

This week's classroom spotlight focuses on our incredible front office staff. They may not have a classroom but our classrooms would not function without their organization and support. These ladies are the heart of Diamond Fork Middle School. They are ALL IN for students and can help you find the answers to any question you might have.

Pods - All students will be placed in a pod of core classes: math, science, and English. Pod time is either in a block of classes in the morning or afternoon. Each student in the same pod will have the same group of core teachers. Pods provide a transition from elementary school to the secondary school experience by giving the students a place of belonging. In addition, reteach and enrich will happen through the pod teachers.
E-Time (E for Enrichment or Extra Help) - Students have two E-Times a day, one is with pods, and one is a free E-Time similar to a recess break with choices for enrichment. For the E-time with pod teachers, teachers will determine if students need to stay with a teacher for extra help. Students released for enrichment, or those that have their free E-Time, can choose outside play (equipment can be checked out each day), drama improv, choir karaoke, movie room, the library for maker spaces ( a variety of STEM activities), or reading, computer labs, art, dance, band or orchestra practice rooms, game rooms, and more!
