Big Library Read
Join a global book club sponsored by Overdrive. This year, the Big Library Read is called Funny, You Don't Look Autistic by Michael McCreary. Please follow these instructions to access the digital book: you have the option of an audio or e-book. Read on your chromebook, tablet or desktop. We will post discussion questions and maybe do a Google Hangout if there is interest.
To use the Boston Public Library Databases, sign in using your BPL card. If I've been to your English Class, you have one! Look in your Drive for a document called "Boston Public Library or BPL. Your card number and pin are recorded there. If you need to sign up: here are instructions.
Log into New York Times Upfront Magazine by choosing log in - "I'm a student" and enter classroom code: minewin2261
Reading for enjoyment
Borrow e-books and audio books. Please follow this insruction seet to sign in using your Google Apps (school) username and password.
Many of you are aware (because we 'made' you sign up) that as a resident of Massachusetts you are able to sign up for an e-Card at the Boston Public Library. In addition to audio and e-books, you have access to movies and music. Need a library card? Here are instructions.
As a result of the Govenor's orders, all public libraries are closed. Online services remain working.
Access a Digital Collection with your town library card. This includes even more audio and e-books.
Nutrition and Food Assistance
A message from our Food and Nutrition Team: All students will be able to receive a GRAB & GO lunch and breakfast at a location in each town. These Grab and Go meals will be available between 11:00 AM and 12:00 Noon, Monday through Friday. Please note that each Grab & Go will contain a lunch, along with a breakfast for the following morning.
Lancaster families: pick up meals at the front entrance of Luther Burbank at 1 Hollywood Dr Lancaster, MA 01523
Bolton families: pick up at the auditorium doors on the far right of the High School at 12 Green Rd Bolton, MA 01740
Stow families: pick up at the Hale Middle school, in the rear of the building at the left side door at 55 Hartley Rd Stow, MA 01775
If at any time your family experiences an emergency and requires meal assistance, please fill out this form and return it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your family needs additional food assistance during this time, please conatct your local food pantry or Project Bread.
