Basketball

Basketball has always been a part of my life. I have played for over 8 years in both competitive and school basketball. I love the game and all that comes with it. Basketball has taught me dedication, commitment, teamwork, hard work, work ethic, love, and perseverance. I was told I would never play the game again due to an MCL tear and sublimed patella. I chose to push through the pain and the injury to continue playing. I have never regretted that decision. I love the game.

My Faith

As Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

First Semester

This first semester of freshman year has been filled with many triumphs, challenges, hard work, friendship, achievements, set backs, and lots of knowledge and learning. This first semester was a big adjustment. I am taking sophomore classes as a freshman and they are quite challenging. I enjoy a challenge but it is a lot of work. I have also learned a lot about balance. Balance is key when it comes to school, clubs, and sports. Time management, hard work, teamwork, and work ethic have also been prominent lessons this semester. All in all my first semester was very rewarding and full of education.
