Cancer patients lose their hair because of chemotherapy/ radiation and also because of the drugs they are given.
Chemotherapy is a treatment that uses drugs to stop the growth of cancer cells; either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing.
Radiation is the use of high energy radiation from x-rays, gamma rays, neutrons, protons, and other sources to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors.
Vaccine is made of antigen from a specific germ.
Antibodies are substances that are made by the body's immune system that are made to fight a specific viral infection. Cells that are infected by the virus are attached by the antibodies and that causes the virus to be destroyed.
A virus multiplies inside your body by attaching itself in your body, then it injects its own genetic information into the cell. Once that is inside of the cell, the viruses DNA or RNA uses the cells machinery to make more.
5 things that can cause hypertension are: being obese, stress, lack of exercise, too much salt in the diet, using illegal drugs, alcohol, or tobacco.
3 ways to prevent hypertension are: stay at a normal weight for your height, don't use alcohol, tobacco, and eat healthy.
3 factors that can affect blood pressure are:" activities, rest, emotions.
A stethoscope and sphygmomanometer are used to measure blood pressure.
The function of the lens in your eyes is to change the focal distance of the eye.
The function of the cornea is to control and focuse the entry of light into the eye.
