This is the Brandenburg Gate, one of the most popular places visited in Germany. Germany has a lot of famous landmarks. The gateway is located in Berlin Germany, Berlin is the capital of Germany. Landmarks are important to this country because if they did not have them then Germany would be a '' left out'' country.

This is the German flag. The German's had this flag beginning in 1848 until 1871 when Bismarck came into power. The flag was re-adopted in 1949.

Germany is known for it's automotive industry. In 2010 Germany produced over 5.5 million cars and the United States produced 2.7 million cars.

The men in Germany wear a thing caller a Lederhosen. The girls wear a Dirndle.

Germany is the country highlighted red in this photo so you can see it. Germany is located in Europe and is North East of the United States.

In Germany about 70% of them practice Christianity as their religion. They are just about evenly split of mainstream denominations of Lutheran-Protestantism and Calvinism and the Roman Catholic Church.

In Germany the main meal is an Abendbrot. It usually consist of whole grain bread, sausages and deli meats, cheese and a warm or cold drink.

In Germany the most popular sport is Fussball or football, as we would call soccer.

Adolf Hitler was Germany's president from 1933 to 1945. Adolf was the leader of the Nazi Party and F├╝hrer of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945. Some of his quotes are if you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed. He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future. Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live.
