AMSA’s Mentorship Program provides you, the mentee, access to a growing list of physician mentors. Here’s how you can make the most of the platform and make connections to help you along your training journey.
Once you've joined the Mentorship Program and set up your login, navigate to connect.amsa.org.
Click on the community tab, and use the filter options to find your ideal mentor. Is there a certain specialty you're interested in, or an issue that you're trying to work out that might be listed in the mentor's interests?
Once you've found your mentor, click "Add as a contact" to send your request to connect.
Once your mentor-to-be has seen your invitation and accepted it, you'll see a notification in the platform. You'll also receive an email to the email address associated with your account.

To send a message, either click on the appropriate button from your email, or navigate to their profile if you're already logged into the platform.
