Through the endless laughter, pranks, friendships, and surprises young David Dobrik has charmed millions with his high spirited vlogs.

23-year-old popular YouTuber David Julian Dobrik was born in Kosice, Slovakia in 1996. He and his family immigrated to the United States when he was only six years old. From there Dobrik went to Vernon Hills High School, where he started to make Vines. His Vines started to blow up, and from High School David moved to Los Angeles to pursue his Social Media career.

Dobrik's start was a little rough at first, he and his three friends moved to LA all alone with little money. He supported himself by creating many different Vine accounts, and a sports accounts on Instagram. Now Dobrik sits a millionaire with over 15 million subscribers.

"I think it's amazing what he has done in such little time," sophomore Becca Sierzenga said. "He has created a whole empire at age 23, and that's why he is one of my favorite YouTubers."

Dobrik's videos consists of his friends, as they call themselves the "Vlog Squad," going on crazy adventures and just living life. They are named the Vlog Squad because everyone or mostly everyone in the group is also a vlogger. Some of the members of the Vlog Squad are David Dobrik, Jason Nash, Scotty Sire, Zane Hijazi, Toddy Smith, Alex Ernst, Corinna Kopf, Heath Hussar, Carly Incontro, Kristen McAtee, Erin Gilfoy, Jeff Wittek.

"I love the Vlog Squad," junior Nicolina Opoka said. "They make my day and I love to watch what kind of crazy adventures they go on every week."

Not only has his success grew tremendously over the past couple of years, but he's gotten the opportunity to meet Hollywood's most beloved celebrities, including Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, and John Stamos. Each one was introduced in the Vlogs in different ways which leave the watchers surprised when they see one of their favorite celebrities on a David Dobrik Vlog.

With his career booming, Dobrik also started a podcast "VIEWS" with his friend, Jason Nash. Together they interview people and just talk about their lives. The inspiration of VIEWS came from Dobrik's life long dream of becoming a late night host, so VIEWS is his way of bringing that dream to life.

"David Dobrik's vlogs make my day," junior Jordan Hass said. "I would be having a rough day and I get home and start to watch his videos and they make me feel so much better."

David Dobrik, a man who gives back to people in need and friends that have been with him since day one. A man who always jumps at the opportunity to make someone smile and assist someone who's struggling. A man with a big heart.
