Loyola's Communication Department Media labs

Student that decide to major or minor will develop critical thinking, analytical skills necessary to produce and publish appropriate content for the media.

Loyola has media labs that equipped with state of the arc technology. Each lab is stocked with the most recent Apple desktops with all the necessary software used within the field.

The labs are open 24 hours a day, everyday. Students within the department will have access to the labs with their swipes. Most, Communication classes are held in labs which allow students to use the computers to do hands-on activities.

Our labs also house our co-curricular activities like the Greyhound student newspaper, WLOY radio, GreyComm Television Studios, the Loyolapound.com, and Apprentice House student-run book publishing company.

Clubs such as the Advertising Club, Public Relations Student Society of America, and Speech and Debate Team utilize the lab.
