Is TV Ruining Our Generation? By: Eli Archuleta Communications 6th 4-18-17

There were 19 votes, 10 no's, and 9 yes's.

I think that TV isn't ruining our generation. The votes were pretty close, but it can go both ways.

  • My first reason is that some TV shows can be beneficial. Media Smarts said "We depend on TV for entertainment, news, education, sports, weather, culture, and music."
  • My second reason is that some TV shows are educational. A lot of people that make TV shows want to educate the future. If you don't know what you want your kid to watch, let them watch Nick Jr. or Disney Jr.
  • My third reason is news. We depend on news and weather reports. If a tornado is coming, we need to know when and where it is. The news is like watching the presidential election.

According to the A.C. Nielsen Co., the average American watches 4 hours of TV each day. A lot of people might think that bad, but is it really?

Tv might could be bad according to some people, but you should be able to watch it, even if you think it's bad.
