12 day Namibian excursion
- day 1:
- arrive at Hosea Kotako International airport, Namibia where you will bet met by your guide
- transfer to guest house in Windhoek, with dinner - ±45km / 1 hour drive
- day 2:
- after breakfast we start making our way south towards Sossusvlei, set on the western edge of the Namib desert, oldest desert in the world - ± 380 km / 4-5 hour drive
- you will be accommodated at Kulala Desert Lodge in the this vicinity
- dinner at the lodge
- day 3:
- early morning departure from the lodge for a visit to the world renowned Sossuvlei in the Namib Naukluft National Park - this will take up most of the morning driving and exploring in the park - an optional hot air balloon excursion can be arranged
- midday back to the lodge to pick up your luggage and depart for our next destination Swakkopmund on the Namibian west coast - ±380 km / 4-5 hour drive
- accommodation and dinner will be at Alte Brucke resort in Swakopmund
- day 4:
- day spent in Swakopmund on various optional activities in the region - there is numerous adventure activities that can be booked and undertaken - desert tour; dolphin charters; desert quad bike tours; scenic plane or hot air balloon flights over the town the desert - all activities can be pre booked by us
- dinner at a restaurant, Brauhaus, in town to experience local cuisine
- day 5:
- after breakfast we depart up the west coast of Namibia via Henties Bay and into the Skeleton coast of Namibia - we will explore the fascinating scenery and diversity of these desert landscapes - also in search of the Welwitschia mirabilis plant- weird, peculiar, wonderful, strange, bizarre, fascinating, and of course, unique, are the kind of words that are used to describe the welwitschia - click to see map of this area
- our end destination is Terrace Bay and accommodation with dinner at Terrace Bay Resort - ±360 km / 4-5 hour drive
- day 6:
- today's route takes us trough Damaraland to Palmwag Lodge - ±200 km / 4 hour drive
- more dramatic and serene desert scenery
- afternoon game drive on the reserve 16-20h00
- dinner at the lodge
- day 7:
- early morning game drive 07-11h00
- from Palmwag we travel via Kamanjab to Etosha National Park, Okaukuejo camp, our accommodation for the next 2 nights - ± 320 km / 4 hour drive
- accommodation will be in one of the many options, subject to availbility
- dinner at the restaurant

- day 8:
- full day on morning and afternoon game drives in the area
- dinner at restaurant
- day 9:
- after breakfast we travel north-east in the park towards or next destination at Halali camp - ±120 km / 4 hour drive
- midday we book into accomodation
- afternoon game drive in the area
- late afternoon back to camp - dinner at our accommodation
- day 10:
- after breakfast we travel north-east in the park towards or next destination at Numatoni camp - ±120 km / 4 hour drive
- midday we book into accomodation
- afternoon game drive in the area
- late afternoon back to camp - dinner at the restaurant

- after breakfast we travel back to Windhoek. (±550 km / 3 hour drive)
- accommodation at a guest lodge in Windhoek
- farewell dinner at Joes' Beerrhouse a landmark attraction in Windhoek

- transfer to Windhoek airport for flight back to Johannesburg or Cape Town
